EGH AIOS — Privacy Policy

1. Who we are
EGH AIOS is a private, internal application operated by EGH Rédaction (Elyse Gambar Hynes, sole proprietor), 537 Rue Quesnel, Boucherville, Québec J4B 2Y6, Canada. The person responsible for the protection of personal information is Elyse Gambar Hynes (elyse@eghredaction.ca).
2. Scope
EGH AIOS connects only to EGH Rédaction's own QuickBooks Online company. It is not available to the public and does not collect information from website visitors or other businesses' QuickBooks accounts.
3. Information accessed
With authorization through Intuit's OAuth process, EGH AIOS may access accounting data in EGH Rédaction's QuickBooks Online company, including customer names and contact details, invoices, payments, and financial reports. Some of this data includes business contact information of EGH Rédaction's clients.
4. How it is used
This information is used only for EGH Rédaction's internal purposes: bookkeeping, revenue and receivables reporting, and preparing draft invoices for review. It is never sold, rented or used for advertising.
5. Processing and service providers
EGH AIOS runs on EGH Rédaction's own computer. To analyze data and prepare drafts, it uses an AI assistant (Claude, provided by Anthropic). Data sent to that service is used to respond to EGH Rédaction's requests. Service providers may process data outside Québec, including in the United States.
6. Storage and security
Access credentials (OAuth tokens and API keys) are stored locally on EGH Rédaction's computer and are never published or shared. Access can be revoked at any time by disconnecting the application in QuickBooks Online.
7. Retention
EGH AIOS does not keep a separate database of QuickBooks data. Reports or exports kept for business purposes are retained according to EGH Rédaction's normal record-keeping obligations.
8. Your rights
Under Québec's Act respecting the protection of personal information in the private sector, individuals may request access to or correction of their personal information held by EGH Rédaction. Contact elyse@eghredaction.ca.
8. Pinterest
The application also connects to The Unrushed Hour's own Pinterest business account, through Pinterest's official authorization process. It is used only to create and schedule pins on that account's own boards and to read basic statistics for those pins. It does not access, collect or store data about other Pinterest users. Access tokens are stored locally on the owner's computer and are never shared. Access can be revoked at any time from Pinterest's settings (Apps / Security).
